Dynamic, fast-paced and growing full-service advertising agency seeks to add an Account Executive to the team.
What we need is an energetic, highly organized person who can jump in and hit the ground running! We need someone who's proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, not afraid to multi-task, open to learning new techniques and programs, enjoys a team-oriented work environment, likes to have a lot of fun, plays well with others and is not opposed to fantastic benefits like company paid medical/dental/vision and a matching 401(k) program.
What we don't need is someone looking for a typical ad agency (we're different and proud), who likes to hide in the background and not interact (we're social), who's not open to new ways of blowing our clients' expectations out of the water (our self-worth is based on happy clients), nor are we looking for a proponent of professional attire (it's jeans for us until a client decides to stop by).
If this is you so far, keep reading! The Account Executive is responsible for daily contact between the agency and one or more client accounts. The Account Executive interfaces with various agency departments to move projects through on behalf of the client. This includes meeting with the creative department concerning creative issues and input, the media department concerning media issues, the interactive department concerning interactive projects, and the production manager concerning scheduling and timing.
The Account Executive has major input in developing strategic marketing plans for their clients. After plans are developed and presented to clients, the Account Executive is responsible for carrying out the plan on a daily basis.
The Account Executive is also responsible for gaining new business from existing clients and helping to achieve revenue goals of accounts.
Lastly, we are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- At least two years of account services agency experience
- Experience with casino gaming clients preferred
- College degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related field is a plus
- Several years of customer service experience
- Keen proofing skills
- Good presentation skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of attention-to-detail and accuracy
- Eager to participate in brainstorming, concepting and creative processes
- Confident but not afraid to ask questions
- Finally, a sense of humor goes a long way
