Email Marketing Strategist

Dynamic, fast-paced and growing full service advertising agency seeks to add an experienced Email Marketing Strategist to the team.
What we need is an energetic self-starter who is able to keep their comfort zone moving to new places, proficient with email marketing techniques and best practices, enjoys a work environment where the client is the boss, likes to have fun, plays well with others, and open to fantastic benefits like 100% medical/dental/vision and a matching 401(k) program.
What we don’t need is someone looking for a typical ad agency structure (we’re flat), likes to hide in the background and not interact (we’re social), not open to new ideas and ways of blowing our clients’ minds and expectations (our self worth comes from happy clients), a clock watcher (we put in some hours) or professional business attire (well, that one sometimes if we have a client visiting).
If this is you so far, keep reading. We’re looking for someone experienced to work across all areas of e-marketing for multiple clients with a heavy emphasis on full-scale email campaign management (including conception, creative, production, distribution, tracking, and metrics). You are creative and analytical. You like to try new things and integrate new ideas to improve our email campaigns.
Lastly, we're looking for someone that meets the following requirements:

• College degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related field
• Email content producing experience with the proven ability to design and produce effective email marketing messages using a myriad of software tools including HTML coding, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.
• A thorough understanding of email usability, effective design and best practices
• A strong background in email marketing analytics and metrics, as well as, the ability to manage and manipulate data using Excel or other database tools.
• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• A sense of humor goes a long way with the Interactive team
• Love for breakfast tacos
While not required, it would be preferred if the email marketing strategist had experience using Interspire Email Marketer. Entertainment, casino or service industry marketing experience would be fantastic, but not altogether necessary.

So what are you waiting for—we want to talk to you if you’ve made it this far! If you’re interested, please send resume and salary requirements to Josh Shepherd.
